Party time in Knysna has never been this much fun, or more convenient. All you have to do is choose your theme, and leave the rest to me. Using imported edible ink and paper your choice of picture and wording is captured in the brightest of colours to make your special occasion that much more memorable and individual. Start scratching through your family photographs for that Kodak moment that was unforgettable, or simply choose one of the popular movie characters or your children’s favourite fairy tale or hero. From wrestlers to soccer stars, Barbie to Ben 10, dolphins, horses, bible verse or poetry – the possibilities are endless.

The cake will be a delicious fresh vanilla sponge or chocolate sponge, iced with white butter frosting, and the picture edge finished off with piped icing, picking up a colour from the picture. Every cake calls for a little extra special attention, and I add a secret “something” to each, be it a miniature vase of fresh flowers, a bracelet, or special chocolate. Each cake has a ribbon around it’s “waist”, and is presented on a sturdy covered cake board. Boxed in unused cardboard, and covered with cellophane, your cake is all ready for the party to start.

Cupcakes are all the rage in Europe, and have been elevated from kiddies cookies, to wedding show girls! Children’s cupcakes no longer have to be a bit of icing and a couple of sprinkles either. Edible images lend themselves to being applied to the cupcakes, or turned into chocolate free-standing decorations. Limitless possibilities – unlimited imagination! Simple or exotic, Fotoh!food transforms your sweet ideas into tempting treats. I have now added my separate cupcake section, where you can order your personalised cupcake wrappers, which can range from kiddies themes to romantic wedding ideas, which will easily wrap around your plain cupcake paper, which along with the bride will really steal the show. Party packs are an integral part of a child’s celebration, either part and parcel of the food table, or a little gift to say thank you and goodbye to the happy guests. Each pack contains a variety of South African branded sweets (no Chinese cheapies here), and a little gift that actually has a use and a potential life span! I seriously investigated the average content of branded packets, and was left unimpressed by the uselessness of the toys and vagueness of some of the food ingredients. The packets are themed to match the cake. I have endeavoured to provide great value for money, and feedback on this recently introduced service has received simply fantastic comment. A colouring in page to match the theme is inserted into each pack, and is an extra party-time activity. Provide a list of the guests, and I will even fill in the names on the packs!

Being a flexible and creative person, I have been delighted by requests (largely at the last minute) to provide cakes to restaurants who have guests booked for celebration dinners. No theme………..I will make one, and deliver on time!
